Our Commitment to Quality

At Taste Shed, we take pride in delivering high-quality, custom-made silicone moulds. We want you to be confident in your purchase, so we offer the following warranty and returns policy.

  • Each mould is designed specifically for the client, ensuring a perfect fit for their needs.
  • Before production, customers must approve the final design and specifications.
  • Once approved, any changes may incur additional costs.

Tooling & Ownership

  • A one-time tooling fee applies to all custom moulds.
  • The tooling remains the property of Taste Shed Limited, ensuring quality control and future reorders.
  • Mould designs are exclusive to the client and will not be resold unless written permission is granted.

Order & Payment Terms

  • All pricing includes tooling fees (if applicable) and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs).
  • Full payment is required before production begins.
  • Once production has started, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Warranty

Taste Shed provides a one-year warranty on all products purchased directly from us. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery.

If you experience any issues due to a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible with proof of purchase and photos of the issue. We will work with you to resolve it quickly.

However, our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper use, storage, or cleaning
  • Accidental damage or misuse
  • Normal wear and tear over time
  • Exposure to temperatures or conditions beyond our recommended guidelines

Taste Shed reserves the right to determine if a product qualifies for a warranty claim. If a fault is confirmed, we will offer a repair or replacement at our discretion.

Returns

All moulds are custom-made, therefore we cannot accept returns or offer refunds unless there is a factory defect. 

Any issues with the received goods must be reported within 7 days of delivery for review, please contact us at sales@tasteshed.com with your order details and photographs of the issue.

Please note that returns of faulty moulds will need to be sent to the following address:Taste Shed Limited. Registered Office: 92a Bury Old Road, Whitefield, Manchester, M45 6TQ.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Cancellations

Once an order has been confirmed and production has started, it cannot be cancelled as each mould is made specifically for you.

European Union 14 day cooling off period 

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
